Ana Bárbara Estevez Salceda is a Senior Associate in the Liability Department at Aeroiuris Abogados. A lawyer specialized in the aviation sector, she has over a decade of experience advising national and international clients across the full aviation operations chain.
Her practice spans general aviation and airport operations, ground handling services, commercial and contractual disputes, and airline liability (passengers, baggage, cargo, fatalities, and damage to aircraft and property). She also handles personal injury, insurance and reinsurance, subrogation and coverage issues, EU compliance, conditions of carriage, and administrative sanction proceedings before the Spanish Aviation Safety Agency (AESA), including administrative defense. Trained in mediation and conciliation, she offers alternative pathways to resolution in complex aviation matters.
Before her current role, she developed litigation experience in specialized practices with a focus on private international law, strengthening both her procedural insight and comparative approach to aviation-related disputes.
On the academic side, she holds a Law degree from the Complutense University of Madrid; a Master’s in Private Law from ICAM (Madrid Bar Association); the Global Mobility Program at Comillas (ICAI-ICADE); a course in Common Law Contracts from Harvard University; and a Master’s in Tax Law from the Carlos III University of Madrid. This training blends a strong civil-law foundation with practical bar coursework and an international view of contracts and the tax dimensions of aviation activity.
