Laura Díaz Sáenz is a Junior Associate at Aeroiuris Abogados. Specializing in aeronautics and space law, she works within a team at the forefront of aviation and aerospace practice.
She holds a postgraduate degree in Aeronautics and Space Law (Pontificia Universidad de Comillas – ICADE, Madrid). Her academic background also includes a Master’s in Legal Practice (Universidad Rey Juan Carlos), postgraduate studies in Fundamental Rights (Universidad Carlos III), and a Bachelor’s in Law (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid).
Her experience reflects both rigor and commitment. At a major humanitarian organization, she advised applicants for international protection on European regulations and appeals. In a firm focused on financial and digital law, she drafted and supported cases before Spain’s Supreme Court and Constitutional Court, as well as before international jurisdictions such as the CJEU and the ECHR. She has also undertaken field missions: supporting victims of human trafficking in Bolivia with a local NGO and contributing to education and literacy projects in Morocco with a non-profit association.
These experiences inform her vocation for international law and her belief that the law is a vehicle for justice and social progress.
In 2023, Laura received a Human Rights Scholarship, recognizing her dedication to the defense of fundamental rights. Fluent in Spanish, Catalan, English, and French, she brings a distinctly multilingual and multicultural perspective to her work.
